Co. Erasga - Alvin Erasga Tolentino - Artistic Creator

November is nearly upon us and our annual fundraiser draws closer, coming up Sunday, November 13, 2:00pm at Scotiabank Dance Centre. We hope you’ll join us for this afternoon matinee of choreographer Alvin Erasga Tolentino’s solo dance works on film. Accompanied by a live performance from acclaimed Vancouver dancer Alison Denham, the four works, Amongst, PARADIS, Swan Diva and SOLA (Nominated for the BC Leo Award 2000, Canadian Gemini Award 2001 and awarded the UNESCO Grand Prix International Video Danse in 2002), are a special treat rarely seen in a theatre setting locally. 

 

We’re hosting a reception following the screening, offering a chance to catch up over a glass of wine and support the company by taking part in our raffle event - we have some fabulous prizes from local and BC hotels and are making these even better by including tickets to our upcoming presentation of Germany’s COCOON Dance with Co.ERASGA on International Dance Day this April to each prize package!

 

This fundraising initiative supports our commitment to produce contemporary original dance works, educational outreach initiatives, continued operations and ongoing partnerships and work with many diverse artists. We appreciate and value your support.
